How to quickly plan your wedding
Whirlwind and last minute weddings are certainly massively romantic, and there can be a wide variety of reasons for you and your partner to get married in a bit of a hurry.
Whatever your reasons for getting married quickly may be, there a large number of brides that often find themselves having to plan their big day in rather more of a hurry than they thought they would ideally want to.
If you do find yourself in this position, the main thing you need to try and do is stay calm and keep your focus. There will be certain aspects of the wedding that you'll need to get sorted immediately, but there are also others which can wait until the last minute. But the things which need to get sorted straight away are the important things which the wedding will not be able to happen without.
Organise Your Venue
One of the first important things you need to focus on is where you're going to get married - where the ceremony and reception is taking place and when. Whether you're looking at wedding venues in Manchester or Charlotte, you will want to try and make sure the venue is perfect for you. But it is important that they are available on short notice, and if you are getting married in autumn or winter you should be able to get one on short notice.
Book a Photographer
The pictures of your wedding day are something you will have with you for the rest of your life and will provide you with lasting memories, so it is important that you book a photographer you can work with. The best thing to do is contact as many as you can (at least 4 or 5) and check their availability but if you have one who you are set on, don't book your venue until you know they are free on the day of your wedding.
Wedding Dress
The typical wait for most wedding dress makers who design your dress is around six months. However, if you are trying to plan your wedding quickly it is unlikely that you will have 6 months to wait around. Therefore, you should try asking your local bridal boutique if they will be able to get a dress in stock, or alternatively, try the sample sales. These can provide amazing bargains if you're lucky. Just factor in the cost of dry cleaning!
Entertainment
For your wedding entertainment, you may have somebody already in mind - so if they're available, you will want to get them booked in ASAP. Similar to the photographer, you will want to make sure that they are available on the wedding date. If not, you should be able to find some alternatives who offer similar type of entertainment, but it is important that these are of a high quality as a poor quality entertainer can have a bad effect on the wedding.
